Lost Document Recovery

As a member, who has activated their Restoration Service, you have coverage to help with lost document recovery.  Having your purse or wallet stolen can be less of a headache with assistance from Restoration Rescue®.

Fortunately, you can replace most important personal records.  You can get your records based on the location of the birth, death, marriage or divorce - contact your state’s motor vehicle department to get or replace your Driver’s License - submit specific forms to replace stolen passports, in person, at a passport agency or acceptance facility.

Credit cards are better protected by federal law as to the amount of money that you are responsible for if lost or stolen, and most companies now extend a zero liability policy to customers. 

Restoration Rescue® will reimburse you for the cost of replacing documents, related to your covered Stolen Identity Theft event, up to a maximum of $250 per primary account, per lifetime.*

Please send us a copy of your documentation showing proof of payment for those items and we will send you a check, as payment for the approved amount covered.

*Note:  Please allow 30 days for processing of approved payment.  Stolen documents must have been part of a covered Stolen Identity Theft event, under the Terms and Conditions of your Identity Theft Program.  Your Restoration Service must have been activated for coverage to begin after the 10-business day waiting period.
